What happened at Magic Island this month?

Our website is refreshed and adapted to the latest technology. Also the information request and mail-a-friend forms are completely renewed; they now are very easy to complete. Directly related to this is the new look of our newsletter, upgraded in the style of our website. So, now subscribe your dive buddy!

Most of the time, the sardines are at our reefs when the water is a little colder, around 27 degrees, but this year the big school of fish is still here, while the water is at least 29 degrees. It is a mega cloud of fish off hundreds of thousands or even more. The sardines are close to the surface with an average depth of 6 meters. It is really awesome to swim through the school.

Lights out and candles on. Chino, our bartender, is waiting to mix you a fresh and tasteful cocktail. At the moment, we have about 72 cocktails available, but regularly, we are adding more cocktails to the list. The latest one is special: you only are allowed to order it when you have seen the blue ringed octopus. There is also a Whale Shark cocktail! But no problem if you are not allowed to order those two, there are plenty of other cocktails to order, like Pinacolada, Vampire, Long Island Ice Tea, Magical Tropical or B52. Make your choice!

A lot! We had a big birthday party for Edzo. His wife Brigitte surprised him and asked us to organize a real Philippine party with singing, music and dance. Of course we had the chance to dance as well! Willem made his 100th dive and Tamara her 200th dive. Congretulations! Kerstin had her birthday and we presented her a very big, pink and sweet cake with one candle.
