All diving and non-diving guests of Magic Island anticipated in the worldwide Padi Dive for Earth Day 2009. We started with 2 dives in the morning. Equipped with garbage nets 16 divers surged the reefs of Moalboal for trash. Great news: the reefs are very clean and so we gathered a small amount only. The great day was ended with our famous Magic Island BBQ.

The past years we had a gigantic school of sardines at Panagsama. JP Bresser made great movie shots of it. This year there is another school of sardines at Pescador Island. At the end of your dive you will be surrounded by these little fishes, a breathtaking scene!

Our guests and Chino (our bar tender) are extremely happy that we again added new cocktails to the menu. This was cause for a small celebration and especially for that the champion cocktail maker came from Manila to Magic Island.

With thanks to Pauline we now also offer a Mexican diner. Together with Fred she prepared delicious wraps with chicken and chili con carne, guacamole dip, cucumber salad, garlic sauce, etc. Thank you very much for this great evening and fantastic diner!

We celebrated a lot of birthdays, Rosalie, Richard, Ronald and our own Chino! So many divers made a special anniversary dive. In total four courses were done, Rosalie got het Open Water and her Advanced license. Leo succeeded for his Rescue Diver and Greg sucessfully finished the Advanced course.
